Casa Fenestra
about.
This case study explores the full development of Casa Fenestra’s brand identity—from concept to execution. As a fictional restaurant rooted in Italian tradition but open to global flavors, the challenge was to visually express this duality through thoughtful design. The process included naming, storytelling, logo creation, color palette, typography, and the visual universe of the brand. Each element was crafted to reflect the elegance and warmth of Italian culture while embracing the freshness of fusion cuisine. This project showcases how strategic branding can bring depth and narrative to a concept, turning a simple idea into a rich, immersive brand experience.
challenge.
The main challenge was to create a brand identity that honors the rich tradition of Italian cuisine while embracing a modern, global perspective. The goal was to strike a balance—avoiding clichés often found in Italian restaurant branding, and instead crafting a visual identity that felt both refined and unexpected. The name Casa Fenestra already hinted at openness and fusion; the challenge was to translate that idea into a cohesive design system that could communicate warmth, elegance, and curiosity across all touchpoints—from the logo to the visual language, and potential applications in menus, signage, and packaging.
result.
The final identity for Casa Fenestra captures the essence of a culinary space that is both rooted and exploratory. The branding feels elegant yet inviting, with a visual system that reflects the fusion of Italian heritage and international influences. The custom logo and carefully curated elements—typography, color palette, and graphic accents—work together to create a brand that is memorable, distinctive, and full of personality. The result is a cohesive and flexible identity that opens a “window” into a reimagined Italian dining experience, ready to evolve and adapt across various brand touchpoints.
